Seller warrants the health of the puppy for one year against life threatening genetic defects. The puppy is purebred. The litter is registered with the AKC. Puppy’s individual registration application (or certificate) will be provided when payment is made in full. If papers are not readily available, papers will be mailed to buyer as soon as possible or as agreed upon by both parties.
Seller agrees that the puppy will be papered with kennel name Palo Verde incorporated into the name. Name beginning with Palo Verde to be preferable.
Seller agrees to furnish the buyer with the necessary health information including shot and worming records. All appropriate vaccinations for the age of the puppy have been given and are recorded in the puppy’s shot record. All medications and vaccines stated on the pet’s medical record are given by me with the exception of a rabies vaccine (when applicable). We are not responsible should an overload occur due to the vet doubling vaccination amounts (which can make the puppy sick).
When puppy is delivered by shipping via air, he/she comes with a veterinarian health certificate. Health cannot be guaranteed by us once it leaves our hands and is received by the shipper. At this point, the health of the dog is the responsibility of the buyer.
Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours after delivery. Any condition not detected by your veterinarian during the first 72 hours will not be covered under this agreement. Failure to have the dog checked in the 72 hour period renders this sale “AS IS” and no warranties will apply.
If any life threatening health problems are found at the time of exam, the puppy needs to be returned immediately with a written statement from your vet. A veterinary lab report is required for replacement of a puppy. No cash refund will be made. In such case, all registration papers, puppy care package, etc. must be returned to us with the puppy. Buyer must sign any and all papers necessary to transfer ownership back to seller.
Buyer agrees to have remaining shot series completed by a veterinarian, as scheduled.
The Seller does not assume and liability for any injury to the puppy after delivery. The Seller has done everything possible to produce healthy, sound puppies by breeding only dogs (parents) that are free of genetic defects, and by raising the puppies with the best possible diet, exercise, socialization, and veterinary care. Internal or external parasites, allergies or any condition preventable and/or treatable by the buyer including but not limited to injury, exhaustion, hypoglycemia, or other stress related condition will not be warranted.
Puppies sold with full registration are judged by the seller at the time of sale to have show or breeding potential only. The puppy is not guaranteed to be able to show or breed at maturity. If agreed by buyer and seller that puppy is of show potential, buyer agrees to show puppy to full AKC Championship unless it is mutually agreed by buyer and seller that puppy will not conform to AKC rules for show.
These guarantees apply to the original purchaser only and are not transferable. The Seller neither makes, expresses, nor implies warranties or guarantees other than those written in this agreement.
The Buyer and the Seller agree that this is the full and complete agreement that exists between the parties for the sale of this puppy. Any agreements made prior to this are considered incorporated herein and any modifications made to the agreement shall be made or shall not be effective. This warranty covers you newly purchased puppy only. We are not responsible for any associated charges such as veterinarian fees, etc.
If at any time in its life the puppy is to be sold or given away, the Buyer shall return the puppy to the seller. The buyer shall not sell the puppy, or its offspring (if any), to any individual or establishment in the business of buying and selling puppies for a profit. Breach of this potion of this contract constitutes an agreement that the buyer is liable to the seller for damages of no less than 5000.00.

Caution: Stress is the main cause of death in puppies. Keep playtime to a minimum for the first several weeks to prevent stress and low blood sugar. Hypoglycemia is an extremely serious condition and could be fatal, it requires immediate treatment!!!!!
